Projects
During my time at the University of Osnabrueck I have participated in a couple of projects. Some where quite long running (meaning one or two semester) while others were rather temporary.
- WIKINDX
- While looking for a program to manage my bibliography I found WIKINDX. Version 1 was out, then. I contacted the developer to ask for additional features and was asked to join the project. That's what I did and shortly after that version 2 was released. My biggest contribution to WIKINDX is the template system. It enables me to blend in my WIKINDX installation with this site.
- ORCA
- In 2001 I was part of a student project called Osnabrueck RoboCup Agents (ORCA). To find out more about it, please visit the ORCA homepage. Also my personal ORCA page is still online.
- AmOS
- During a seminar about the Amharic language (spoken in Ethopia) I helped set up a web page that presents the results of that seminar: Amharic @ Uni Osnabrueck. Apart from the web design I implemented some of the translation functions.
- Halophytes: Expo 2000
- During the Expo 2000 in Hannover, Germany, the University of Osnabrueck participated with the presentation of its research in saltwater resistant plants. For the website I helped develop two Flash animations. One is a short intro movie (German version) and the other one explains different strategies of saltwater resitance. Both animations are not very stylish but they got the job done at the time.
